This spec explains how search results should look and the different actions available for the results. We focused on the defaults and keyboard behaviors to help reduce the mouse to keyboard hand switching. 

This spec shows the different status icon states for both group chat as well as individual conversations. 

To this day this is one of my favorite features of any IM client. The CMD N dialog would allow you to quickly search on a contact and open a conversation window with them. It was simple, elegant, and our users loved it.

For the launch of the Mac client I also did the website design to accompany it. This usually falls onto the visual designers lap but I was happy to help give our site the much needed Mac love. One thing you can also see in this mock is one of our new icons - the web cam resembling the iSight. We spent countless hours perfecting our icons, although I didn't do the artwork I helped review and offer feedback to help the team nail the photo realism of the Mac OS icons.
